Join us for an afternoon of meditation, improvisation and freedom in motion!
(No experience necessary.)

Learn what it means to be embodied joyfully, to trust your movements, and to take your space.
We will bring awareness to the currency of our attention, and cultivate presence in our physical
and mental bodies. We will dance from our hearts and explore visualization to awaken a deeper
confidence in our decisions and our motion. Workshop participants will leave feeling energized,
centered and inspired to move into the future with purpose.

Facilitators:

Tatum Ali Barnes is a teacher, healer and meditation facilitator with an MA in Psychology and a
Concentration in Spirituality from Columbia University. He guides people through transitions,
and as they take their next steps in life.

Grace Taylor Rae is an artist and organizer who works with movement, language and design.
She is an improvisational performer and a member of the EMERGENYC community with The
Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics at New York University.

Tickets are available here.

Join us for a special event with authors Julie Winter and Rachel Koenig to celebrate their new books!

Hear excerpts from Winter’s novel of linked stories Dancing Home, a story about love in NYC; and Koenig’s highly anticipated novel in progress The Ravens’ Bridge, which explores the mysteries of Prague.

This event is hosted by the Ministry of Maat.
