HUMAN IMPACTS INSTITUTE
NYC CLIMATE SHEROES
The NYC Climate sHeroes series of the Human Impacts Institute gives a sneak peak into the lives and work of women who are leading the way in their Brooklyn and NYC communities to combat global climate change. From artists to students to scientists, these women are addressing the root causes of climate change and inspiring others to take a stand along the way. A selection of these posters will be displayed on the fence surrounding the Old Stone House’s AstroTurf field. For more stories and to listen, visit HumanImpactStories.org.
Join the Human Impacts Institute with special guests for the Health & Justice for All Webinar on August 21.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The Human Impacts Institute’s mission is to inspire the public to transform environmental challenges into social action for a just and livable world. Their programs pair artists and scientists to engage new audiences in climate change solutions, bring youth to the boardroom, and get policy makers’ hands dirty as they care for local street trees. They are action-oriented, and their passion is to help people make a difference, in their own unique way. The Human Impacts Institute are social entrepreneurs who create and share innovative approaches to tackling social and environmental issues. They help people of diverse ages and backgrounds personally connect to the most pressing environmental issues of our times, and give them the tools needed to take positive, long-term actions.
