Shadowing our Waterways is an Environmental Justice art project about Newtown Creek, the Gowanus Canal, and the Nile sponsored by the Brooklyn Arts Council and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy. Jean Farnworth found her first guitar in her Grandma's attic (literally!) when she was eleven years old and so began a lifetime of collecting and sharing songs with friends and audiences in the N.Y. and N.J. area. Her performance will feature Irish Harp, 12-String Guitar, instrumentals to enjoy, and songs to sing along with.
