
Concrete Timbre presents Working through the Waves, a program of new music and poetry composed for violin, piano, and saxophone. The past couple of years have not been easy for anybody. We kept working through the waves of covid, waves of sadness, waves of hope, and even waves of heat!
Working through the Waves is our first live concert since well, since all of those waves hit us hard. We invite you to join us for an exciting program, full of magnificent jazz and contemporary classical music. We’re excited to share it with you and hope to see you there!

Concrete Timbre is dedicated to performing and promoting new compositions by a diverse group of composers.
Working through the Waves features new compositions by Whitney George, Stephanie Greig, Jinhee Han, Alice Jones, Jay Kauffman, Sandy Noble, Milica Paranosic, Stephanie Singer, Ann Warren, Kyoko Oyobe, Tom Blatt, and Manuela Lechler; with poetry by Sylvaine Hinglais and Benjamin Franklin.
Performers include: Adam von Housen – Violin, Kyoko Oyobe – Piano, and the Cobalt Saxophone Quartet (Raymond Kelly – Soprano Sax, Anthony Izzo – Alto Sax, Ryan Mantell – Tenor Sax, Josh Lang – Baritone Sax), with Fedly Daniel – Narrator.
