Join artists Amy Khoshbin and Macon Reed for a live screening of their film Oh Wait! You’re Fascism!, which explores connections between past and future depictions of authoritarianism and our current political climate. In the film, the artists communicate via ouija board with the ghosts of fascism, drawing from the history of the absurd and play in performance art.
After the film, join the artists in conversation with OSH contemporary curator Katherine Gressel to discuss their latest projects responding to recent political events, and their strategies for working collaboratively and virtually during a pandemic.
This is the closing event for Khoshbin and Reed’s recent exhibition Against Doom TV at the Old Stone House. Against Doom TV is an interactive variety show bringing together artists, organizers, and local candidates to make dismantling harmful systems and imagining the future we want more fun and radical together.
