What better way to ring in the country’s upcoming 247th birthday than by celebrating at one of the most important sites of the American Revolution? It’s time to fire up the ye olde hearth and party like its 1776 with delicious personal pizza pies and special trips inside one of Brooklyn’s ultimate historic hidden gems.
Join New York Adventure Club as we step back in time to enjoy a casual evening of authentic wood-fired outdoor hearth cooking and private tours at Brooklyn’s Old Stone House, the location of the largest battle of the entire American Revolutionary War.
Our private experience at this historic site will include:
- Dining outside in the house’s beautiful North Garden, featuring freshly-made flatbreads and pizza, big green salad, sweets, and an assortment of wines, beers, and soft drinks
- The opportunity to make your own personal pizza— after you choose the toppings, the oven master will fire your pie in the wood-fired oven
- A tutorial by the oven master on how to operate an authentic brick hearth
- Private tours through the Old Stone House exhibits, including their permanent exhibition “Old Stone House: Witness to War,” which details the rich history of the site from the Lenape settlement through the American Revolution
