NY Native plant landscaper, Makenzie Younger and permaculture designer Claudia Joseph will lead a tour of the excellent plant material in the Old Stone House gardens, focusing on native plants. Learn why they are important to birds and pollinators and how you can use them in the urban landscape to bring beauty and health to any setting. Many of these plants are useful for food, medicine and craft, as well as wildlife support. Often they are drought tolerant and not fussy about soil type, sun or shade.
Tour fee: $10
