Join herbalist Danielle Moore and local artist, Iviva Olenick for a walking tour of medicinal plants found on the grounds of Old Stone House & Washington Park. Even plants we don’t think of as medicinal, like wild raspberries and strawberries found around the Park, have health-bearing capacities. We will start in front of the House where Danielle and Iviva have collaborated with Director of Gardens, Sam Lewis, to create a Women’s Health Garden focusing on plants that regulate hormones.
Please wear walking shoes and bring water.
RAIN DATE: July 19th at 6 pm
The Garden and walking tour are sponsored in part by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC) through the Charlene Victor & Ella J. Weiss Cultural Entrepreneur Fund, and the Brooklyn Arts Fund.
