Join Herbalist Danielle Moore of Herbal Underground NYC and Director of Gardens Sam Lewis for an evening of full moon medicine making in the Old Stone House Gardens.
Featured will be a Monarda (Bee Balm) Oxymel, an ancient medicinal preparation using honey and apple cider vinegar that supports respiratory function, soothes a cough or sore throat and is tasty enough for culinary use! This will be a hands on workshop where participants will learn to harvest and prepare their own oxymel while discussing the many virtues of the beloved Monarda, a favorite native perennial of the garden.
Cost for the evening is $35 per person, this includes materials and everyone will leave with 8 oz of the oxymel.
Rain date is Thursday July 1st at 6 pm.
