Eleonor Bindman was born in Riga, Latvia, where she became a music student at the age of five.  After her family immigrated to the United States, she attended the High School of Performing Arts, earned a B.A. in music from NYU and completed her M.A. in piano pedagogy at SUNY, New Paltz under the guidance of Vladimir Feltsman.  Ms. Bindman has an extensive background as a recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist, having performed at Carnegie Hall, The 92 Street Y, Merkin Hall and Alice Tully Hall among other venues. Her solo appearances with orchestras include engagements with the National Music Week Orchestra, the Staten Island Symphony, the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, the New York Youth Symphony, and The Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra of Moscow, Russia.

Alan Kozinn of The New York Times described her 1991 New York recital debut performance as “…lively, clear textured and urbane, displaying an impressive clarity of purpose and a full grasp of the music’s spirit.”  Eleonor is a featured artist on 4 CDs and the author of a piano transcription of Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and a set of original piano pieces for children entitled An American Calendar, both published by Carl Fischer, Inc..  Her most recent project, a Piano-4-hands arrangement of Bach’s 6 Brandenburg Concertos, is scheduled to be released as a double CD set by the Grand Piano label in spring of 2018.

Robert Chausow has been a vital member of New York’s musical world for over three decades, performing with most of the finest ensembles in virtually all venues.  He is the Concertmaster and solo violinist of Westchester Philharmonic, a position he has held since 1989, and in addition has been involved in the orchestra’s fine education program.  He is also currently the Assistant Concertmaster of both American Composers Orchestra and Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, and Associate Concertmaster of New York City Ballet Orchestra.  Robert began playing the violin at the age of four, later studying with Josef Gingold, Oscar Shumsky, Ivan Galamian and Nathan Milstein.  He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Michele and 16 year old twins, Nina and Daniel.
